Job Description

Crowe is looking to hire a Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst in our Product Engineering practice. This resource will be a part of a Scrum based product team that is responsible for enhancing and maintaining the Insight delivery platform utilized by the Audit business unit to deliver their services. The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring the product they support has the highest level of quality possible while adhering to commitments set forth by the team, while balancing quality assurance standards, practices, and measures.
  • Active participant in Scrum ceremonies such as Poker Planning, Sprint Planning, Retrospective and Demo
  • Review User Stories and Acceptance Criteria to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
  • Design, develop, maintain functional test cases and ensure all tests are traceable to the features as well as the code
  • Ensures and participates in a collaborative team test case review
  • Fosters a collaborative relationship with developers to maximize value of testing
  • Execute the prepared test cases and ensuring that the results/artifacts are documented appropriately
  • Ensures defects are recorded, reported, and re-tested and traceable to the story
  • Identify test cases eligible to be included in Regression and/or Smoke Testing suite
  • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate any reported potential quality issues to the Scrum team
  • Analyzes and reports test results (test coverage, test execution, trends) to find risks/bottlenecks and make suggestions on improvements
  • Ability to identify candidates for test automation
Qualifications

BS or BA degree in IT or engineering; 7+ years of relevant QA experience
  • Good understanding with Agile Scrum methodology including all Agile ceremonies
  • Experience delivering in an Agile environment
  • Strong understanding of QA Best Practices and supporting processes
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Test Manager, Azure DevOps or other test management tool
  • Ability to query SQL
  • Proven ability to create clear, concise, detail-oriented test plans/cases in BDD format.
  • Ability to collaborate with Scrum team and business with clear communication (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of the SDLC and STLC
Preferred Skills
  • Preferred: basic C# language knowledge and understanding of APIs.
  • Knowledge of Selenium (NuGet package), SpecFlow, Git.
  • Experience with SharePoint
