  • Liaison with Corporate Internal controls team in India & Global teams for better internal controls and culture.
  • Testing controls applicable to plant on yearly basis as per India & US Laws.
  • Reporting to Global compliance team on various compliances activities / certifications.
  • Review of statuary checklists with respect to various factory & labour laws applicable to the plant.
  • Lead Monthly Governance meetings and provide insights to the stake holders on areas of improvement.
  • Lead and support all Statutory and Compliance audits.
Workshops
  • Conduct workshops with process champions on selected Enterprise Procedures, changes/ new developments and propose changes to local SOPs for improvements if any.
  • Conduct open forums with Tax, Trade compliance teams with in organization and relevant stakeholders.
Audit Reviews
  • Perform periodical review of key control processes
  • Discuss and recommend process improvements to stakeholders
  • Follow up and track the action plans agreed with stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, with minimum 2 to 5 years post qualification work experience

  • Knowledge of local statutory accounting, currency, and tax and trade controls
  • Initiative, leadership, good judgment and accountability
  • Good communication skills
