Job Description

Supplier Qualification - support on-boarding of new suppliers by performing supplier capability analysis and assessment of supplier risk. Perform re-qualification of existing suppliers per Supplier Quality Development (SQD) guidelines.
Lead Product and Process Qualification of suppliers providing components/systems for Siemens Energy Compressor Naroda facility. Main commodity focus will be machining of castings, forgings and other raw material types.
Supplier Development - initiate and implement supplier quality improvement measures
Plan Implement Supplier Quality Assurance measures during entire supplier lifecycle (qualification + ongoing business) to ensure Supply Chain Resilience for Naroda procurement of 3rd party parts services.
Support root cause analysis, corrective and preventive measures at supplier for quality issues
Utilize Risk Management Methodologies to avoid quality issues at supply base
Support product development of new/revised components to ensure manufacture-ability source-ability and provide technical evaluation of design changes as input to cost impact analysis
Highlight opportunities for Innovation Improvement - externally at supplier via technical
