Job Description

Looking for a Tableau Developer to manage the lifecycle of Tableau analytics and reporting dashboards, including business requirements gathering, functional specification write-ups, prototyping, development, quality testing, user acceptance testing, collaborative roll-out and post-launch enhancements implementation.


As a Tableau Developer, you should have a demonstrated ability to design engaging and interactive business insights dashboards using Tableau and possess the knowledge and experience on data visualization best practices, with a focus on enhancing user interaction and user experience, working in close collaboration with user experience designers to implement design driven tableau dashboards.

To be successful as a tableau developer, you should have a broad understanding of the business technology landscape, the ability to design reports, and strong analytical skills.


Tableau Developer Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions.
  • Working closely with user experience designers to deliver data design centric dashboards and reports.
  • Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
  • Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.

Tableau Developer Requirements:

  • Degree in mathematics, computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Relevant work experience.
  • A solid understanding of databases.
  • Competency in Excel (macros, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
