SUMMARY

The SAP Globalization Services team localizes SAP products for use in different countries. The team has locations across the world, including Brazil, China, Germany, Hungary, India, Israel, and Russia. We are seeking an associate user assistance developer (technical writer) to join our software development unit in Bangalore.

As a member of the Globalization Services UA team, you will have the opportunity to learn and explore a range of product lines spanning SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP SuccessFactors and many more.

THE ROLE

As a member of the user assistance team, you are responsible for the UA content of your scrum teams. This would include:

• Researching and defining terminology
• Editing user interface texts to ensure usability and that the texts conform to SAP’s standards
• Planning, researching, and writing the documentation (such as context-sensitive help, user guides) required by SAP’s customers. You will also be required to create product videos, and at times blog about a specific feature.
• Interactions with SAP’s customers, and partners on UA projects, where relevant

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• UA developer (technical writer) with 6 months to 3 years of technical writing experience at a software product development company.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Experience with UA tools such as Ixiasoft DITA CMS. Knowledge of SAP systems and documentation tools will be an added advantage.
