Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

New product development Process (Electrical & Electronic : Liek Motor, Charger, Controller, IEMS, W/h harness,etc ) as spec/drawings released by R&D. which includes,
a. Make project plan in-line to over all sourcing plan & drive team toward delivery.
b. Bifurcate time line for concept, Alpha, beta & SOP
c. Get input from technical & Program team & share sourcing project plan.
d. Identifying Vendor (Imports + EV exclusive) & completing evaluation.
e. RFI / RFQ to Vendors & making decision matrix to get mgt decision.
f. Costing-Tools/Dies/Molds/Fixtures
g. Monitor the effectiveness, till ramp-up (Involve if required)
2. Conduct Quality council meeting to ensure continual improvement on cost, quality & delivery.
3. Communicate & monitor supplier performance, through structural method.
5. PPAP for parts along with SQA
6. Payments to Vendors, Payment period improvements , etc
7. Drviving - Cost reduction, VE projects initiation and implementation.
8. Quality Improvements Support along with CFT-SQA
9. DCRN & ECR/ECN execution
10. MIS to HOD

Functional Competency :

Should have good knowledege on E&E parts - supplier identification, knowledge on parts / drawing study, should have good knowledge on manf process, FTG requirements, Component selection process, SBC / ZBC,

Experience

6-7 Yrs

Industry Preferred

Automotive (OEM, TIER I, II) , Home Appliance, etc.

All Automotive OEM (Tata, Ashok Leyland, Renault, Nissan, Suzuki,etc) OR - Bosch, Delphi, Continental, MSSL, Delphi, ,Simens, etc

Qualifications

BE, BTECH - EEE / ECE
