Roles And Responsibilities

Set up machine by attaching dialyzer and tubing for use

Prepares dialysis according to formula and mixes dialyzer with saline or heparin zed solution

Receives patient and checks weight and vital signs

Explains procedure and operations of dialysis machine and answers to their queries

Carries out procedure and monitors patient.

Responsible for cleaning, quality control and maintenance of dialysis equipment.

Records post dialysis weight and vital signs

Provides patient information about dialysis Informs consultants for any adverse reactions

Follow biomedical waste protocol

Clean and sterilize all the tubing’s

Proper case sheet recording
