Job Summary:

iGTB is the world’s first integrated global transaction banking platform. It provides digital ready products that cater to the entire spectrum of transaction banking for the global market. The strength of the product lies in the rich functional features coupled with robust architecture and design.

The enterprise product architect would be responsible for creating and maintaining a common set of architecture standards and principles to be followed by all the product lines. Given the mission critical nature of iGTB product deployments in banks worldwide, he/she will ensure that the highest standards of security, code quality and performance are adhered to at all times.

Candidate should have minimum 15+ years of experience in technical and enterprise architecture for large and global mission critical applications. Candidate should have intense flair for technology and have a strong understanding of how banking products operate in the global market. Candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to lead a vibrant team of architects and effectively work with the development community. Candidate should be able to represent the company in technical forums as will as in CXO level customer engagements. Experience in large enterprise systems in banking or financial sector is a must.

Specific Responsibilities -

1. Standardise, layout and maintain the enterprise architecture for entire iGTB products in line with the business vision. Lay out a governance structure that will ensure that the guidelines are followed across the organization

2. Keep abreast of latest technological advances and continuously evaluate benefits of adopting them into the architecture/design that would enhance the business value of the products.

3. Continuously evaluate and recommend tools that would help improve code quality, improve productivity and prevent defects in the application.

4. Evangelize the adoption of new architectural guidelines and tools amongst the developer community.

5. Participate in the design of individual products to ensure technical superiority and adherence to architectural principles.

6. Oversee and certify independent performance and security testing of each application on a periodic basis. Establish partnership with reputed labs to obtain third party certificates as and when the need arises.

7. Participate in customer engagements right from pre-sales to post production scenarios to positively influence customer opinion towards product superiority.

8. Assist teams in troubleshooting issues whenever the situation so demands and incorporate any learning back into the architecture.

9. Lead the automation effort for the product line. Recommend tools, architecture and processes for a number of automatable items such as automated testing to automated deployments, code scans etc.
