Overview

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of electrical systems and components for various projects. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems in a wide range of applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and design electrical schematics and layouts for projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimation for electrical systems.
  • Perform circuit analysis and simulation to optimize electrical designs.
  • Create technical documentation, including specifications, manuals, and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Manage and oversee the production and testing of electrical prototypes.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate components and materials for electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all electrical designs.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation and troubleshooting of electrical systems during the production phase.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in electrical design processes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for sourcing electrical components.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling for electrical design activities.

  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors for technical solutions and support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical design and engineering projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design software.
  • Strong understanding of circuit analysis and simulation tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to create detailed technical documentation and reports.
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities in electrical design.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
  • Experience in selecting electrical components and materials for projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical testing and validation procedures.
