What you will do:High Level Description :
Provides New product and sustaining engineering (including DFx) support for a specific product or group of products from pre-concept commit through end of life. Interfaces with design, process, test and reliability engineering to solve problems. Sustains products with cost reduction and design related yield improvements.

Job Description:
Perform New product and Sustaining engineering
DFx: DFM, DFR, DFSC, DFT
Value engineering (component selection, process efficiency, and design changes)
BOM structuring and BOM risk Management.
Design tool proficiency (DFx, schematic, CAD, other CAE tools)
Cost avoidance (pre-A0) and sustaining cost reduction
Design lab experimentation / debug (proficiency continuum) / DOE /EFA
Technical lifecycle management (defect reduction team participation, new component qualification, etc)
Assessing CM and supply chain technical capability gaps
Knowledge and application of industry innovations / trends to product or program
Creating, analyzing, and releasing product documentation
Mfg (Process) FMEA
Design FMEA
Design diagnostic analysis and input / influence
Leadership and direction of complex issue resolution

Technical Requirements:
Very good understanding on Electronic product design and architecture.
Good understanding of Hardware interfaces – High speed serial interfaces , PCIE , Ethernet , SATA , I2C etc
Knowledge of PCB design and Allegro .
Knowledge of Valor and DFM is a Plus .
Knowledge of PCBA Manufacturing, System Build and NPI process
Knowledge of Product development process from concept to launch phase.
