Embedded Engineer I
Location: Bangalore

Experience in Operation and Maintenance of Distributed Control Systems
Knowledge of Windows Operating systems & debugging– Server and Client
Proficient in operation and maintenance of various PC Platform hardware and Peripherals – Dell/HP Servers, Workstations, Thin Clients, Remote Peripherals
Knowledge of Computer Organization and Architecture
Detailed understanding of PC embedded hardware including CPU chipset, memory (RAM/ROM), video/ graphic cards, network card
Proficient in Server-Client topology and basic networking.
Knowledge of different network topology & System level integration
Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle & Software testing lifecycle
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience in usage of Test Management tools like Quality Centre, JIRA
Working knowledge of Honeywell’s Experion PKS Distributed Control System and Total Plant System (TPS) will be a plus

Job Responsibilities:

Perform product system / hardware testing.
Detailed understanding of the product requirements & specifications
Preparation of test environment, High level test plan & detailed test specification for the requirements.
Usage of debugging tools and automation tools.
Work closely and collaborate with product development team, technical experts and global stakeholders internal and external including third party vendors
Ensure completion of test execution within schedule time adherence to process
Involve in improvement ideas generation in enhancing the product
Troubleshooting issues with limited support from team
Usage of defect tracking tool and ensuring quality of the product

YOU MUST HAVE


QUALIFICATION: BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA
EXPERIENCE: 2 to 6 yrs
