Job Description

This position is responsible for directing a small team of molding associates in the areas of production, scheduling, safety, maintenance, and quality. The position will require competencies that include molding, tooling, quality inspection, and supervision.

Main Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Responsible for ensuring the operation of the machines to accomplish the production plan.
  • Responsible for controlling the process parameters to ensure the highest quality level.
  • Responsible for stopping and starting injection moldings machines in order to cover the production plan
  • Oversees the color changes on the machine to ensure the OEE required.
  • Taking the daily production to schedule color changes, mold changes, etc.
  • Propose improvements in the molding area.
  • Coordinate tooling and equipment availability, repair and maintenance
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintains safe work environment within molding department
  • Monitoring and Control of Scrap, rejections in the areas according to with the plant KPI'S

Qualifications
  • Diploma in plastics /CIPET
  • Diploma in Mechanical with 3-5 years in Pen molding Environment.
  • Good command on MS Excel and Power Point presentation.
  • Must possess strong leadership and communication skills
  • Continuous improvement experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in an ISO 9001:2008 certified company
