Radiometer is looking for a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to manage and lead a software engineer team to develop point of care Testing Middleware Application. You’ll need to be well versed and current in software development technologies including object-oriented design, web technologies, and mobile application development. This is a critical leadership role in our software organization that requires seasoned people management skills to hire, manage, and develop top engineering talents. The role also requires strong strategic and critical thinking and strong communication inside and outside of software engineering. The role includes ownership of products with the responsibility to deliver and operate high quality, scalable, and extensible software, including making appropriate design and technology choices. Essential Job Responsibilities:
Strong expertise in Software development from Requirements to deployment, that deliver customer value by using resources with optimal productivity.
Basic knowledge in marketing and operations of customer support. To develop and deliver products through the optimal MVPs
Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
Understand organization business and Drive the right prioritize to provide maximum business and customer impact.
Connect Company business and products to Departmental goals and objectives
Has structured approach to identify and solve the technical and operational problems by using tools.
should be able to understand priority and the impact of problems to be addressed in Department.
Shall be able to obtain and understand the product domain knowledge
Create and drive actions that support Department/ organization strategy.
Manage Results driven by KPIs, follow up with team and do course correction as needed.
Provide scenario plans for decision making and driving the results.
Is willing to champion an idea or position despite dissent or political risk.
Different approaches to explain and clarify his point of views to team and stakeholders. and get the team buy in.
Coaching, mentoring, and developing team and supporting their continual professional development Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 15+ years industry experience OR Master Degree and 13+ years of proven experience.
3 years of managerial experience and done performance appraisal to direct reports.
Strong interpersonal and business skills, with a consistent track record to navigate complex corporate environments and influence partners
Good knowledge on CI/CD process
Expertise in Agile methodologies and transformed teams from traditional to Agile. Preferred Requirements:
Global experience, influencing or leading remote teams to deliver software releases
Experience in healthcare is not required, but familiarity with healthcare systems and data and workflows is a plus
Microsoft Technologies with full stack development expertise.
Experience working with regulated products / understanding of data protection laws
Experience working with design control
Trained on SAFe Agile methodologies
Must be ready to travel – the amount can vary a lot but expect 2-4 weeks pr year as a minimum
