Job Description
WSS Engineering Services is expanding the services for Validation labs to include the setup of basic systems, infrastructure support, OS imaging and provisioning, etc., so that the engineers in the lab can focus on core development, Validation and debug activities. In this role, you will be responsible for Deploy Managed Services on large scale across multiple Geos for internal Engineering teams. � Work with internal/external customers to deploy, maintain and support all Systems under tests in Managed Services Model. � Design, Deploy and scale the remote infrastructure required � Define the support model, structure, and SLAs for Managed Services. � Deploy, support, and maintain Lab servers, VM’s, software, tools, etc as needed � Enable and support automated infrastructure monitoring and alerts, troubleshooting issues, and working with automation development teams for fixes and features � Resolving any infrastructure issues that may arise � Develop and publish the dashboards/indicators for remote Infrastructure. � Develop self-help knowledge base and WIKIs � Documenting changes and new additions to infrastructure � Automate some of the manual processes like Infrastructure monitoring, dashboard/reporting, log collection, System recovery, etc.


Qualifications


� B.E/M.E/M.Tech/MS in Electronics, Computer Science with 8+ years of experience � Strong experience in enabling remote infra i.e KVMs, SoftKVM, PDUs etc. � Strong Experience in Cloud Technologies, Azure, EC2 � Experience in Server administration, Virtualization Technologies, Networks, Storage, Backup/Restore � Familiarity with DevOps, SCRUM / Agile software development practices and methodologies � Ability to handle multi-tasking and multiple interruptions in very dynamic environment � Understanding of Jenkins, GIT � Excellent analytic and problem solving skills, as well as strong communication skills � Self-driven individual who is capable and excited to learn about new technologies
