JOB DESCRIPTION PROFILE: Equity Research Analyst
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Supporting equity research analysts in carrying out research on a portfolio of companies
• Write initiation, coverage, sector and theme-based reports, earning notes, quarterly updates, newsletters, event updates, etc
• Cover securities on which research has been initiated.
• Tracking news, events and results of companies under coverage and
prepare report on it
• Track and monitor regulatory trends impacting the industry
• Build and maintain databases and track key macroeconomic indicators/ industry KPIs.
• Assist lead analyst in preparing company profiles, newsletters, flash and earning notes, initiating coverage reports, etc
• Research on securities of target industries and companies to provide investment recommendation
• Develop and write research reports and publications to be presented to management or shareholders.
