Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Technical:
Understand design input documents like PRF / PALS / PDB for designing new products.
Make design calculations and material selections as per application.
Create concept and production part / asembly models in 3D modelling using CAD softwares. Preferred NX / Creo.
Should be well conversant with design tools like DFMEA, DOE, DFS, DFA & DFM and use them in design of parts and systems.
Creation and maintenance of EBOM.
Perform benchmarking of competition products.
Make improvements in current loader and backhoe portfolios as per area and market requirements.
Generate engineering documents for engineering releases.
Support the proto build teams for part and complete aggregate development.
Design reviews with CFT.
Should possess basic understanding of loader and backhoe hydraulic systems.
Should possess understanding of third function kit applications.
Techno-Commercial:
Should have rough estimation of material and manufacturing cost of loader & backhoe parts for analysis of part / assembly costs.
Part development & disposal:
Should have basic understanding of manufacturing processes of loader and backhoe parts.
Should know about probihited materials in domestic and exports for design of loader and backhoe.

General Requirements

Should have good analytical skill while analyzing technical data / information
In-depth knowledge of loader/backhoe & its functionality
End to end knowledge of New Product Development process related to loader/backhoe and construction equipment industry
Exposure to Team Centre- Enterprise, SAP, TC- Engineering and TC -Project
Ability to converse clearly in English during various forums, interactions
Self driven and result oriented
Good knowledge of NPD & Ms-Office utilities like: Word, Power point, Excel
Have fluency in writing technical contents, articles, etc.
Risk Identification / Risk Assessment / Risk Mitigation Plan.
