Having in-depth understanding function, setting & maintenance of process & packing equipment’s which are being used in phama products manufacturing and packing like churna, tablet, capsule & avaleha.

Indepth understanding of maintenance & operation of utility equipments like chillers, boilers, air compressors, DGs, WTP, STP & ETP.

Having indepth understanding of legal related to PCB, weight & measures, lifting tools & tackles, CGWA, Fire departments, EB etc.

Having experience of handling 15 direct work force of engineers to handle to meet to target of the organisation.

Having exposure to procure new equipments starting from proposal to execution.

Having exposure to work in WHOGMP work environment with respect to engineering function.

Having basic & indepth understanding of electrical & instrumentation point of view with respect to process industry equipments.

Having basic understanding of TPM, EHS etc.

Having understanding of lean cost management & expose to pressure target deliverance working environment.

Select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance

Organise the repair of any damaged equipment

Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times

Supervise and motivate a team of workers

Review worker performance and identify training needs.

Estimate costs and prepare budgets

Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)

Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.

Report to upper management.

Ensure uninterrupted and cost-effective availability of infrastructure, equipment, utilities & spares for operations.

Evaluate and implement sustainability technologies (in energy /water conservation, renewable energy, etc.)

Ensure compliance with relevant statutes e.g. Factories Inspectorate, environment, electricity and boiler.

Liaise with external environment for statutory approvals and related processes.

Ensure identification, design and execution of engg. projects with a view to provide measurable benefit to SBU.

Ensure timely capital expenditure planning and implementation, as well as monitoring & adherence to budgets.

Strive to reduce fixed as well as variable costs in the operations by aligning engineering processes.

Ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety norms & guidelines in operations, engineering and projects.

Develop and leverage vendor/partner eco-system for obtaining quality service at competitive rates.

Identify, share and drive adoption of ’Best Practices’, including showcasing of experience on various forums.

Liaise with union on departmental issues, and lead related discussions during periodic long-term settlements.

Identify gaps in skill requirement and collaborate to develop capabilities of own as well as allied-teams

Develop the Unit plan along with other HoDs, & ensure resources are focused, in synergy with other departments.
