Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and reliable individual to join our team as a Building Caretaker. The Building Caretaker will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and security of our building premises. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and restrooms.

2. Perform regular inspections of the building premises to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.

3. Monitor building systems and equipment, such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), to ensure proper functioning.

4. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and performing minor repairs.

5. Respond promptly to tenant requests and inquiries, addressing any concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner.

6. Ensure the security of the building by monitoring access points, conducting security checks, and reporting any suspicious activity to management or authorities.

7. Assist with move-ins, move-outs, and other tenant-related activities as needed.

8. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and tenant interactions.

9. Collaborate with property management and to coordinate repairs, upgrades, and renovations.

10. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Qualifications

1. B.Tech/Diploma in Engineering.

2. Prior experience in building maintenance, custodial work, or a related field preferred.

3. Basic knowledge of building systems and equipment.

4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.

8. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
