Job Responsibilities:


BE/B-Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical, preferably Masters in Engineering

Experience on Product engineering in Cluster/Audio/IVI programs , Knowledge on System-V

Good knowledge & experience in any electronics product life cycle and Project Management , budgeting , resource management and cost control

Knowledge on various certification tasks (android, Apple carplay, wi-fi, BT, USB, CE, ICASA)

Should be flexible on timings and travel to customer place.


Expectations/Responsibilities


The CPE is responsible for supporting the customer & team members as required with the following:

Understanding customer requirements and converting the requirements and cascading to all CFT team

Project budgeting and resource management

Accountable and responsible to lead all technical activities and projects to achieve goals and objectives as established during the initiation phase of the project and subsequent changes throughout.

Managing resources in conjunction with horizontal managers, manufacturing and others

Supporting team to resolve day-to-day engineering operational aspects of project and scope

Supporting Project team in their monitoring and reports of, timing, income, expense and resource management

Ensuring less experience team members are utilizing Project Management and VPDS methodology

Preparing for Senior Project Leader and Project Board project reviews and quality assurance procedures

Ensuring all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately in enterProj

Monitor project status (including supplier status) and review CM activities with appropriate stakeholder

Chair the CCB and manage key activities related to changes and problems (at both a project and a SW level): determine prioritization provide approvals

progress updates / impediments / escalations (ensure the team are working according to plan / customer expectations) impact analysis post implementation review

Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member’s contributions

Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential

Motivates the entire Project team to work together in the most efficient manner

Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members and other project teams

Mitigates team conflict and communication problems

Teaches (based on experience) the team and functional managers to ensure that relevant communication with the customer is done in a timely and appropriate manner
