Responsibilities

Underwriting of Medical and Non-Medical cases as per the guidelines
Assessment of risk as per the company’s philosophy and supporting guidelines.
Adhering to agreed TAT for processing of cases.
Maintaining the quality of underwriting
Participating and giving inputs for revision of guidelines, manuals, forms, etc.,
Handling of projects allocated.
Mentoring of underwriters.
Adhering to authorized limits and maintaining uniformity in underwriting
Enhancement of underwriting knowledge through reference manuals, trainings, exams, and other available means.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Graduation in any faculty/additional qualifications like LOMA, FLMI, ALU, FIII etc., preferred.

- Candidate must have 3-6 years of experience in Life Insurance Underwriting.

- Industry: Insurance preferred
