OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Fleet Data Preparator is responsible to perform the following : -

• Manage all database related work for Fleet Operation
• Ground level interaction with IR for fleet management
  
  RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer relation

• Preparation of proper reports and notices, get validated & timely submission to Customer
• Notify controlled message to TLCs/IR
• Timely calling of Locos for Schedule maintenance activities at Depot
• Communicate fleet availability/performance to all areas of the Business & Customer
  

• Operation

• Improve data capture in close cooperation with depot team & enter in database
• Provide support to other database users
• Punch Loco Handover to Depot and Vice Versa in GSI
  

• Performance & Efficiency

• Set, monitor and control planned maintenance including outstanding defects, reliability and safety checks
• Ability to manage technical data and provide support to users
• Knowledge in using relevant information system
  

• Continuous improvement

• Promote continuous improvement ways of working within the fleet team, ensuring predefined processes are in place.

• Compliance to all relevant procedures and to report and recommend any potential improvements
  
  Qualifications & Skills:
  
  EDUCATION

• B Tech/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical from an institute of repute with strong Analytical Skill and very good understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

• Good communication, report writing and organisational skills
• IT skills – MS-EXCEL, Competent user of Personal Computer, including office packages, SAP, Planning tools as MS Project, PMS...
• Flexible working hours

• Technical knowledge, either mechanical or electrical / electronics
• General railway and Product knowledge
