Head of D&I, Labour Relations & Future of Work(14627)
Location: Corporate Bangalore

Objective:

Lead the D&I strategy for India focused on – attracting diverse talent, employer brand and external thought leadership
Create clear and transparent policies and procedures that drives fairness, flexibility, and equal employment opportunities for diverse groups
Create an engaged workforce by utilizing digital and human insights
Drive allyship programs to ensure D&I is everybody’s agenda
Develop success measures and embed in WTMM to lead a culture of performance and inclusion – gender participation, LGBTQ+, veterans, India wide ranking among best workplaces

Respond to the shifting needs of diverse organization within India including but not limited to
fostering workforce morale resulting in zero mandays lost due to industrial disputes
creating, tracking and managing the comprehensive LR/ER strategies for India and ensure it supports company’s sound people guiding principles
partnering with and proactively engaging senior leadership in influencing/advising on complex labor issues and establishes strategic plans that improve labor relations in India and overall BIG level
lead and create proactive plans to adhere to the changing labour codes — the Code on Wages, 2019; the Industrial Relations Code, 2020; the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020; and the Code on Social Security, 2020
Responsible for consolidating, tracking, reporting, sharing best practices, and influencing future of work in the following areas:
COVID -19 Risk Mitigation Plans per country
Health & Wellness Programs
WorkSpace Design and policies on the usage of real estate for employees
Deployment of initiatives around Employee Experience/Life@Coke Experience

Partners with Learning & Development and Capability Council in building programs for current and future skill sets required for a high performing LR/ER, D&I and Future of Work leaders in India
Training (Formal and Informal (Coaching & Mentoring Program)
Network (internal and external benchmarking)
Quarterly Sessions/conferences representing India in BIG

Function: Human Resources

Work Location: Bangalore

Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage, track, implement programs, policies, and practices to ensure that all functions respect and comply with human rights regulations and local labor law requirements

2. Review labor contracts between site union/s, employees, and managers to ensure alignment with good governance, respect for human rights and adherence to the principles of fairness, organizational justice, and equal employment opportunities. Escalate to BIG LR/ER Chief Officer on big ticket items that may impact the Enterprise

3. Drive best practices amongst companies in India; Help define standardized processes between employers and employees that refers to determination of economic (salaries, wages and benefits) and non-economic (working conditions, hours of work, safety at work, grievance machinery, physical and mental health, etc) thru guidance of BIG’s Total Rewards, LR Head, Country President and Country HR Head

4. Manage incidence report on country issues and drives quick and early resolutions on conflict

5. Create dashboard to evaluate success of the implementation of LR/ER/Future at Work Programs

6. Ensure compliance with the Union negotiated contract and reduce if not eliminate litigation or strikes due to ULP

7. Facilitate/Participate in leading Future of Work projects

8. Drive out-of-the box thinking by actively participating and engaging the community of LR/ER within BIG to continuously learn and share labor research, new local labor laws, varying labor disputes, and how conflicts were managed.

9. Track/monitor COVID Risk Mitigation Plans and engage country POC when necessary to provide support/guidance

10. Collaborate and provide support in the evolution and implementation of Future of Work

Reports To: Chief Human Resource Officer

Job Requirements:
Qualifications: University/Advanced Degree in Human Resources

Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in Human Resources.

Minimum 5 years’ experience or equivalent education within the Labor/ER specialized area
Understands and appreciate bottling operations and the resulting manpower and skills requirement to help in driving motivational behaviors for CBA negotiations
Willing to work in a cross-functional setting
Open to diverse opinions and views given the differing local labor laws, culture, and diversity
