Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for HR Leader, located in Aurangabad, Maharshtra

The BU HR Leader will be responsible for partnering closely with leaders of Consumer Health Supply Chain plant in Mumbai, India to provide strategic HR and IR support in the areas of talent management, capability building, industrial relations and organization design as well as work towards improvising the culture to drive sustainable business growth in the market. This role will report to the India Supply Chain HR Head.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with J&J Supply Chain leaders to stay deeply connected with and knowledgeable about the businesses and operating environment and be a strategic people partner and drive JJSC people strategy in the sector.
  • Design and Implement Organization and Talent Strategies in support of business strategies to ensure a robust pipeline of talent for Supply Chain organization as well as the J&J enterprise.
  • Plan and implement dedicated actions related to the talent strategy and partner with line leaders to grow diverse leadership pipeline and build critical, future and advance capabilities.
  • Partner with business leaders in designing organizations for future, in consultation with regional and global leaders.
  • Work with PSLT to build functional leadership capability across the cluster to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of the organization and drive growth.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees within the organization.
  • Drive special projects which have a wide impact across all businesses.
  • Partner with Specialist Groups (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Knowledge Centre, and Employee Relations) to facilitate implementation of employee life cycle processes.
  • Partner with Line Leaders to diagnose and implement Credo action and other engagement interventions.
  • Independently handling plant level HR& IR Training, IR, Liaison etc. at any reputed manufacturing co.
  • BUHR Manager will be responsible for negotiating collective bargaining agreements and will be accountable for site related legal and statutory compliance.
  • Accountable for the internal and external union engagements and to ensure IR harmony in plant.
  • Quality, Regulatory & Compliance (QRC) Responsibilities:
    • Understand complaint & adverse event reporting responsibility and report such events within 24 hours of becoming aware.
    • Attend applicable training sessions as well as complete mandatory on-line e University trainings and submit training records to the supervisor / franchise secretary and work as per the applicable SOPs and guidelines.
    • Follow Bio-Safety practices while handling complaint samples and while working in the field. (Applicable for Sales & Marketing personnel and QA personnel).
    • Use product samples, demo units if issued; for the designated purpose only.
    • Report any evidence of product tampering, diversion and counterfeiting to the Brand Integrity function (Applicable for Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain and QA personnel)
    • Participate in execution of Field Action (Product Recall, Distribution of Field Safety Alerts, etc.) and complete the assigned tasks in a timely manner (Applicable for Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, RA, QA, Legal, Corporate Communication personnel).
    • Promotional materials used in the field are duly approved through the Copy Review process (Applicable for marketing personnel).

Qualifications


Education:

  • MBA or Equivalent degree in Human Resources

Experience and Skills:

  • The successful candidate will have 6-9 years of relevant HR experience, in business partnering and Plant HR/IR
  • Good understanding of key HR functional areas including Talent practices, Change management, and Employee Engagement.
  • MBA from a premier B School would be preferred.
  • Able to synthesize and connect multiple inputs and translate into simple solutions and messages.
  • Must be able to partner effectively and influence at all levels in a matrix environment with strong interpersonal skills and effectiveness
  • Proven track record in building a trusting relationship, fostering a transparent environment, communicating difficult messages and yet be sensitive and supportive.
  • Demonstrated Leadership attributes and achievements aligned with J&J’s Leadership Imperatives.
  • Communication skills, maturity of judgment and aptitude to educate and influence multiple stakeholders
  • Strong business orientation
  • Ability to drive change management initiatives
  • Operational excellence & ability to deal with both complex and ambiguous situations
  • Learning agility and openness to innovation & change.
  • Exposed to wage negotiations, and union engagements (Multiple union scenario)

Other:

Travel percentage – 30% within India as pre business and HR agenda needs
