Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a qualified Lab Technician/Lab Chemist to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of dyeing textiles. Your goal is to optimize lab procedures and producing reliable and important results.

• Receiving, labeling, and analyzing samples (Fabrics).
• New preparation for samples received from customers.
• Checking washing fastness, rubbing weight fastness, colorfastness, water repellency of fabrics, etc.
• Execute test of all chemicals for solid content and other specifications.
• Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids according to safety instructions
• Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility
• Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
• Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in Dyeing will be preferred. (It could be internship or training)
• Knowledge of operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment
• Knowledge of preventative measures and laboratory best practices
• Basic knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and database systems
• Ability to work autonomously
• B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry or relevant field
• Candidates from the Jaipur location will be given preference.
