Job Summary : This position is responsible for ensures that all moulds in all plants able to run within good condition and reach the target of uptime and mould OEE. Coordination of all spares for moulds (min/max, vendors, drawings, cost optimization) to support the production department, moulding and assembly line to ensure a quality product with help of the lab.

Main Responsibilties / Tasks:

  • Discuss with Plant to convert existing moulds to an auto de-gating & also modify mould to reduce wastage generation.
  • Discuss with Plant & spares supplier for cost-effective spares developments with proper identification & drawings keeping GI&I in the loop wherever required
  • Coordination between Plant & Mould Maker to fulfil Mould trial requirements. Need to provide Mould start-up support & required training to Plant team
  • With GI&I support, develop Proto Cavity. Get it validated by GI&I Team & also mechanical test at Cello Lab. Ensure to have standardization in parallel
  • Weekly / Monthly monitoring of expenses. Major expenses should be identified & prepare RCA & CAPA.

  • Moulds & Spares should be audited frequently & should be 100 % matching with FAR and Mobility Tools in future
  • Mould & Spares Conversion/ Developments/ Drawings.
  • Assets effective utilization, CMMS.
  • Build Strong Mould DataBase & track the expenses asset wise through JDE, MIS & CMMS.
Qualifications
  • Diploma / BE / B. Tech
  • 10+ years experience in Mould Developments / Maintenance. (min. 5 years experience as Manager).
  • IMM process experience of at least 3-4 years.
  • Practice for Mould & Spares Design / Auto CAD for 2-3 years
  • Experience in Ball Pen industries will be a great & should be given priorities.
  • Experience in Multi cavity mould / HR Mould experience will be great.
  • Should be capable to work independently
