JOB PURPOSE: -

To develop and manage the team to improvement and Innovations, Improvement in existing product portfolio in terms quality, efficiency, performance and support the Sales team to meet the market expectations.

Ensure to follow the applicable codes and standers without any deviations and nurture the culture of innovation, growth, competitiveness, and sustainability by fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Define the strategy in consultation with sales to meet the customer expectations within timelines.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: -

  • PVC Compound development for Medical, Automotive & BIC (Building, Industrial, Consumer) applications; within the given timeline. Understand the Technical, Regulatory requirement of products & ensure 100 % compliance with requirements.
  • services- Support customer for processing trials of new material, resolve technical issues related to the material etc.
  • smooth transition of Development project from Trial stage to commercial production.
  • Risk assessment- Review risk associated with new projects; take initiative to prepare & implement risk mitigation plan.
  • Coordinate with MCPP Global R & D teams to bring latest technologies & optimizing existing formulas.
  • source development for the Raw material, Identify alternate grades for present RM on technical front.
  • formula cost reduction projects & reduce the complexity by eliminating dependence on single source of RM.
  • be familiar with SAP Operations, QMS system.

Ability to pull the resources and knowledge and reciprocate in the region.

Ability to interpret the content and communicate to stake holders.

Expertise in Project Planning and Execution

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED

  • Graduate in Polymer / Post Graduate in Polymer Technology.
  • PVC Resin & Additives used in PVC Compounding.
  • Application of PVC compounds in Medical, Automotive & BIC industries.
  • Polymer testing
  • Polymer processing methods- Extrusion, Injection molding, Blow molding etc
  • Good presentation skills and communication skills both written and oral.
  • Must have knowledge of applicable "Codes & Standards".
  • Familiar with SAP B1 and Sales Force

Experience: -

Must have at least 10 Years of Experience in Development of PVC Compounding
