Job Description

Accountable and responsible for the target data models & definitions - including master & transactional data to support business processes

knowledge on windchill PLM system
Responsible to define & govern data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for solutions data models. Experienced with data modeling tools for capturing and managing the data models.
Responsible for supporting the development of the conceptual data models together with business information owners (accountable for a particular data domain)
Responsible for leading and driving the creation of logical, physical, and canonical data model translating from conceptual data model as well as processes & capabilities.
Able to support and advise platforms and programs on physical data models and the implementations in master data stores, operational data store (ODS), data marts, and data lakes.
Able to Influence and drive change in data thinking across (senior) stakeholders and leaders across Multi sites.
Expert in at least one of the following data domains products, services, or integrated solutions; multiple domains is a pre
Able to work in a matrixed organization.
Able to work independently and collaboratively with multiple layers in the organization effectively to achieve the goals. Working closely with process owners and experts.

Skills required for this role:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Information Management, Computer/Data science technical or related experience..
3+ years of hands-on conceptual, logical, physical, and canonical data modeling experience across the company.
2+ years of experience with data modeling and standardization across data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms.
2+ years of experience in strong influencing role
3+ years of good knowledge of metadata management, and related data modeling tools (SAP Power Designer, Erwin or ER Studio or others) required.
Strong influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
Having worked in similar sized, complexity and matrixed organization
