Job Purpose:

Manage end-to-end product management that covers product construct, process design, acquisition strategy, retention management, customer engagement documentation, disbursement, and collateral administration for LAP product. This includes ownership and maintenance of consumer credit product programmes and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. The role will be responsible for building any digital processes required for achieving better efficiency, revenue, volume, and profitability target for the product line.

Key Accountabilities:

• Design and develop innovative product proposition for consumer LAP and build a scaled and profitable portfolio.

• Design and implement thoughtful Customer Journey/Employee Journey, leveraging digitization, eco-system thinking and data, to create joyful banking and productivity gain.

• Adopt a data-driven operating mindset to proactively manage business drivers.

• Collaboratively work with internal and external partners to achieve an agile and robust processes, with strong risk management and regulatory compliance.

• Macro market outlook and emerging trends, especially around interest rate environment, liquidity situation and property markets.

• Do a market benchmarking, find the right opportunities and launch differentiated products.

• Do effective channel management and drive product communication through various channels.

• Tap the alternate revenue opportunities like insurance.

• Devise and run the annual operating plan for the consumer LAP business.

• Build business intelligence for the product line.

Required Experience:

• Overall 8-10 years of Product Management & Development experience in Mortgages

• Proven track record in project management and implementation.

• Sound Understanding of Mortgage Industry, dynamics, key players and competition.

Technical Competencies:

Understanding of regulatory guidelines on banking policies related to mortgage business issued by RBI and where applicable, on local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general. Understanding of KYC requirements & Anti-money Laundering Policies laid down by regulators.
