Overview:

We have an exciting role of IBM Cognos Reports Developer/Administrator.

The IBM Cognos Reports Developer/Administrator will work closely with the OMC Reporting & Analytics team in reports development/enhancements based on requirements from various Omnicom agencies and support the team in all aspects of technical administration of Cognos BI to ensure seamless functioning of the platform.

Responsibilities:

This is an exciting role and would entail you to

  • Administration of the enterprise reporting and data applications
  • Create and modify reports and analytics in IBM Cognos Analytics
  • Support Team on all aspects of platform technical administration
  • Assist with the development and architecture of enterprise data platforms
  • Troubleshoot report and data issues and propose solutions
  • Perform data validation activities to ensure report integrity
  • Maintain internal operations and change control documentation
  • Collaborate with business partners in the development of reports, analytics, and dashboards
Qualifications:

This may be the right role for you if you have

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience Administering developing reports with IBM Cognos Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT
  • Ability to convey complex concepts in a concise understandable manner
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and Technologies and data movement
  • Deep knowledge of SQL
  • Comfort working with large data sets with advanced MS Excel experience
  • Exposure to financial systems and/or enterprise level technology platforms
  • Proven ability to work effectively in fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
