Retail Stores Operations Trainer

GP Strategies are now looking for Stores Trainerto join the team.

Work Location(s):Shivamogga, KA

Minimum Educational Qualification(s): 12th Pass/Retail Diploma/Graduate

Individual in this position should be able to train and skill candidates as per Qualification pack by using effective methodology for the target candidates whilst ensuring consistently high pass percentage

Knowledge And Skills

  • Good and effective communication in Kannada, and English.
  • Undergo e-SOP certification in Operations on joining the center
  • Prefer TOT certified on Domain subject/ willing to take TOT certification

Experience

  • 12th pass with 4 years’ experience in Retail Store Operations OR Sales including minimum 1 year of supervisory experience OR
  • 12th pass with 4 years of experience in Retail Store Operations OR Sales including minimum 1 year of training experience OR
  • Retail Diploma/Graduate with 2 years of experience in Retail store operations OR Sales including minimum 1 year of supervisory experience OR
  • Retail Diploma/Graduate with 2 years of experience in Retail store operations or Sales including minimum 1 year of training experience

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Teaching and explaining, domain subject topics and maintaining domain lab in an suitable way.
  • Take internal assessments for candidates at frequent intervals and record the assessment details in the Candidates tracker.
  • Plan for industrial areas and ensure participation of employees.
  • Constantly develop innovative training techniques to make training more effective and interactive.
  • Manage and motivate youth positively. Ensure Candidates are aware of their weekly timetables and attend the sessions.
  • Identify and respond to risks that could lead to candidates dropping out of the programme.
  • Build strong and trusted relationships with Candidates from the start of their engagement with the DDU-GKY Flagship Program.
  • Management skills and documentation knowledge. Take care of administrative duties and handling employees, knowledge on mobilization & placements.
  • Computer skills, DDR reports, handling inspections
