Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description/Skills Required

This role will undertake the day to day management and support of theDesktop / SCCM / VMware infrastructureto ensure that all products relating to corporate desktop is maintained and installed to the most relevant and up to date level, meeting required service levels. We support all office, overseas and home based customers using a broad variety of mainstream and bespoke applications on Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 10 operating systems.

  • Good knowledge and experience of administration and management ofActive Directory and group policy management.
  • Excellent working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP/WINS/DNS, Windows Patching, etc.,.
  • Practical experience of using and administering management tools such as SCCM (preferably SCCM 2012), APP-V.
  • Practical experience administering virtualisation technologies such as HyperV or VMware (preferably VMware vSphere 5.x).
  • Knowledge of client side security technology such as Windows firewall, Symantec end point protection and juniper.
  • Experience of administration of Appsense/iVanti (Application Manager and Environment Manager)
