Introduction:

We are looking for a high quality candidate to join our critical project. The role requires someone with extensive business knowledge, analytical and relationship skills, strategic mindset and programme management discipline to help drive the build-out of the function as well as support the broader department and organisation objectives.

This is a challenging role requiring the successful individual to partner, coordinate and drives progress across global teams and different business areas as well as partner closely with key stakeholders and colleagues around the firm. This also presents an excellent opportunity to join a market leading organisation and business area and play an active part in driving the long-term development of the function in an area that is key to the future success of the financial services sector and at the heart of industry development and regulatory focus.

What we’re looking for:

  • The scrum master responsible for ensuring the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed they would use.

  • Key responsibilities:

    • o Clearing obstacles.

    o Establishing an environment where the team can be effective

    o Agile Expert — Great Scrum Masters are experts in Agility

    o Consultant — for the ITPMs, Development teams , Product Owner

    o Schedule meeting, create reports, update status, and track progress

    o Protecting the team from stakeholders

    o To take on the administrative, coaching and leadership roles that make Scrum development possible.

    o Walking the product owner through more technical user stories.

    o Encouraging collaboration between the Scrum team and product owner.

    o Observant, professionally trained, and an influence on organizational members

    o Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team as well as possible

    o Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management

    o Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items

    o Understanding product planning in an empirical environment;

    o Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value;

    o Understanding and practicing agility; and,

    o Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.

    o Coaching the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality;

    o Helping the Development Team to create high-value products;

    o Removing impediments to the Development Team’s progress;

    o Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed; and,

    o Coaching the Development Team in organizational environments in which Scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood.

  • Min 8-12 Years of experience in Project Management of which at least 6+ as a Scrum Master
