Job Description

30,000!! That is the number of Novartis Field Personnel that we impact through Data and Analytics.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Translate business documents, SOPs and data from Japanese to English and vice-versa and align with CONEXTS associates to ensure that the meaning and content are reproduced correctly.
  • Proof read, edit and revise translated materials if need arises
  • Be able to handle technical requests with the support of CONEXTS associates
  • Check translations of technical terms and terminology to ensure that they are accurate and remain consistent
  • Translate queries from business teams/field force and support CONEXTS teams in responding to them
  • Facilitate effective communications between Japanese stakeholders and CONEXTS associates in business meetings and conferences.
  • Ability to create workflows using ETL tools for data Extraction, transformation and loading.
  • Design end user interface, build reporting environment including data sources, security and metadata.
  • Develop and design data models around stated use cases to capture client’s KPIs
  • Altering the ETL process, providing transformations in SQL and deriving business and technical KPIs
  • Possess in-depth working knowledge and hands-on development experience in building Data Solutions including ingestion, caching, processing, consumption, logging & monitoring. Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
  • Working alongside the business teams to establish business process and translate business requirements into non – technical use cases, lay terms
Minimum Requirements

Desirable requirements:
  • Japanese language N2 level. N1 is desirable or equivalent degree/diploma in Japanese language.
  • Good amount of experience as a Japanese interpreter
  • Good amount of understanding of Japanese business culture
  • Highly proficient in speaking, reading and writing Japanese and English
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential
  • Experience in the Pharma/Healthcare/Life Science business is preferred
  • Analytical thinking with problem solving approach is preferred
  • Fluency in English is prerequisite
  • 2+ years’ experience in Enterprise Data, data modeling, data lake design, IT service portfolios & migration.
  • Good Experience in any of RDMS (SQL/Oracle), ETL tools like Alteryx or Informatica and reporting tools like Qlik or Tableau.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and Strong aptitude toward problem solving and working with large data sets. Proven ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and documenting progress towards those deadlines
