We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to manage the software development process and create an automated delivery pipeline that assists in building software more efficiently. The responsibilities of a DevOps Engineer include assessing, supporting, and implementing high-quality information technology architecture.

Responsibilities:
1. Build & Release Automation:
  • Provide solutions to implement Continuous integration & continuous deployment solutions for big-size enterprise projects
  • Guide the team to solve build & deployment automation issues
  • Design/Implement release orchestration solutions for medium or large-sized projects
  • Participate in the discovery phase of large-sized projects to come up with a high-level design

2. Infrastructure Automation:
  • Develop playbooks/cookbooks for configuration management for medium to large-sized projects
  • Install and optimise tools on cloud infrastructure
  • Design/Implement solution for infrastructure automation over cloud infrastructure
  • Design/implement solution for data centre infrastructure automation.
  • Implement optimised complex networking configurations.
  • Implement an optimised complex storage setup

3. Log Management Solutions:
  • Configure listeners and optimise listeners
  • Install and optimise log management tools
  • Performing administrative activities on the log management tool
  • Develop custom scripts to enable log management
  • Design/implement log management solutions for medium to large-sized projects

Requirements:
  • Degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
  • Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling (Chef, Puppet, and Docker)
  • Working knowledge of automation service provisioning and middleware configuration
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical skills
