Job Description

Key Responsibility:To lead and implementation of Distribution Management System (DMS)/ Outage Management System (OMS) projects using DMS / OMS applications. His / Her main responsibilities will be to design, commission, deploy, integrate, validate and deliver large scale DMS / OMS applications in electrical utilities domain. Deliver solutions that focus on exceptional quality and improved process efficiency.

Key Skills:

  • Strong understanding of power utility business in the transmission and distribution areas.
  • Hands on experience on DMS/ OMS applications.
  • Strong knowledge in Power Flow Analysis and related applications
  • Knowledge of C, C++, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell scripting and Unix/Linux
  • Exposure to RDBMS like Oracle
  • Good communication skills with ability to work with international customers
  • Should be a strong team player and be adaptable to various demands based on customer needs
  • Experienced in OSI, GE’s Power On, ABB or Oracle product will be prefered.

Communication and Collaboration:Engage with the collaborative team culture, share ideas and experiences, and be open and available to the suggestions of others in the team. Act as a mentor to junior team members and assume a personal responsibility for the success of the team.

Role (Lead Consultant):Lead and engage with customer to propose relevant quality procedures in order to deliver quality products and services and identify and support the implementation of continuous improvement. Contribute ideas on systems and process methods to improve deliverables.

Experience:6+ years

Qualification:BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech - Electrical Engineering / Power Systems
