Roles and Responsibilities

1. Support the Continuous improvement projects leaded by the KAIZEN Team Leader to maximize efficiencies and drive operational performance.
2. Drive and support the implementation of KAIZEN-Lean improvement activities on the shop floor
3. Co-ordinate with functional departments : RA(Regulatory Assurance) / QC(Quality Control) / QA(Quality Assurance) / ADL(Analytical Design Lab) / SCM(Supply Chain Management) for the smooth execution of projects
4. Explore initiate Automation, Digitalization wherever necessary for improving business impact
5. Capturing and transferring best practices to and from other plants & industrial practice 6. Implementing, driving OEE(Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement and productivity improvement for specific areas
7. Engage at a deep level across factory-departments, working in small teams to build the capabilities, systems, and processes needed to deliver small project results.
8. To improve the energy efficiency of manufacturing operations; to enhance quality systems; to build lean manufacturing capabilities in the organizations, and to optimize overall energy utilization
9. Ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness and develop data visualization tools/dashboards to drive operational performance then drive this understanding throughout the site
10. Assist in selecting, scoping, prioritizing, and executing CI projects and prepare Project Concept Note
11. Acts as the change agent by helping employees learn, understand, adjust and grow within the continuous improvement culture
12. Assess current processes and standard workflow and identifies process improvement opportunity
13. Solicit the cooperation of a diverse group of disciplines and functions in a tactful & persuasive manner.
14. Organize and lead cross functional teams and align team members to management’s vision
15. Establishes standard approaches for productivity, and quality metrics/measurements (KPIs) to. Owns, communicates, educates and facilitates the site Continuous Improvement (CI) Projects
