Sr Software Analyst , Quality Engineering

• Quality Engineering within MasterCard is about creating an ecosystem to build a world beyond waiting for all delivery teams to help achieve time-to-market, quality excellence, and higher customer satisfaction within all verticals including core, emerging payments, and value-added services.
• Local Processing Solutions (LPS) is a Mastercard’s Card & Payment Processing Platform. It offers Processing Platform in the market for the Credit, Debit & Pre-paid Product Flavors for the Customers in the Financial Services World. LPS target customers include Banks, Fintechs & Financial Institutions operating & engaged in C&P Businesses. In addition to the Issuing Platforms, LPS also offers ATM & POS Acquiring Platform Solutions. The primary objective of LPS is to make the platforms more resilient, scalable & robust in order to target the growing processing business opportunities in the region, eventually leading to higher volumes of transactions for their Customers on the Platform as well as within the Mastercard Network.
• This position will be responsible for driving best practices for exploratory and manual testing within MasterCard in working with teams to delivers applications and solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders, including consumers, merchants, issuers, and governments.
• The position seeks experienced candidate on Card Payment domain (Issuing/Acquiring) which is primary skill for the product platform we are working on.

• Unlike similar quality/testing roles in other organizations, Quality Engineering position at MasterCard requires firm knowledge and hands on software development and architecture skills on par with software developer to work closely with developers to build test strategies , test infrastructure, and perform required analysis/review to enable development quality.
• This role will drive Quality/Test Strategy creation and promote standard test tools/beds, testable architecture, product health, code coverage, performance considerations, automation suite usage ( if needed,non-madatory) , test data management and planning , environment requirements, software deployment & configuration quality, and device/browser testing strategies for web applications.
• Develop test scripts, Build scenarios/cases, plan user journeys and execute to ensure software meets business requirements and established practices.
• Coordinate and participate in requirements review/story elaborations and testing activities to deliver high quality products and incremental value with every iteration.
• Own responsibility for end-to-end product quality including defect management and oversight, status reporting and metrics creation, and escalation for issues discovered during the testing phase
• Review project test and implementation schedules. Document test plans and acceptance criteria using, Rally or such solution life cycle management tools.
• Develop business and product knowledge over time and share such knowledge to mentor newer team members.
