Overview:

In this role the Staff Engineer (Avionics3) actively participate in NPI, redesign and sustenance activities of Sensor products and R & D work on various products.

Position: Staff Engineer (P4)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Exp in design, development and verification of Xilinx based FPGA systems , RTL design, Simulation, synthesis and debugging on Hardware. Tools: Xilinx Tools, Chipscope, VHDL, Arinc interface protocols.

• Strong experience in Analog and mixed signal, high speed electronics design with expertise in design and analysis tools of OrCAD, PSpice, ModelSim, VHDL, Matlab and Simulink
• Experience in Micro-Processors / Micro-Controllers based systems design including schematic capture and Board bring-up
• Experience in FPGA/PLD systems development including development of design specification, architecture, Firmware development, functional verification and synthesis.
• Strong troubleshooting and testing background. Ability to solve complex electronics and firmware issues and understand complete development lifecycle.
• Experience in Aerospace qualification testing and Knowledge of DO-254, DO-160, HALT, HASS tests.
• Experience with communication protocols such as ARINC-429, ARINC-717, CAN.
• Experience in validating the requirements (DOORS), Requirements based testing.
• Familiarity with design for EMI/EMC compatible electronics and implementing the protection circuits as per aerospace standards and programming language os ADA & C is desirable.

  Basic Qualifications:

• 12+ years of Industry experience with experience in New Product Development, redesign, R & D activities
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 years’ experience in Analog, Digital, FPGA, Aerospace domain
• Knowledge of DO-254, HALT, HASS
• Testing as per D0160G.
