We are looking for a Tech Associate to join our Application Engineering team. The team is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise scale tools and applications focused on collaboration, end-user productivity, developer experience and firm’s branding. The team specializes in web and mobile application development, application infrastructure and DevOps tooling.

What you’ll do day-to-day

You’ll be responsible for providing application support, managing deployments, upgrades, configuration changes, interface with third party vendors for ops and handle ops queue effectively keeping SLAs in mind. You’ll also be building and maintaining product documentation and ops manuals. You’ll be coordinating with the team to escalate critical production issues and minimize impact to users/business. You’ll also engage with stakeholders, proactively address their needs and maintain effective and timely communication. You’ll be expected to acquire expertise of the products over time, take up complex queries and contribute to automations and other value add tasks.

Who we’re looking for
  • The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or a related field.
  • Minimum of one to three years of experience in handling IT-ops for production critical applications.
  • Candidates must be familiar with one of the programming languages and source control tools (git, svn).
  • Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate should have impressive problem solving and logical reasoning skills.
  • Experience in Linux environment and exposure to shell scripting, DevOps tools will be an added advantage.
