Designation: Tele Sales Specialist
Some common tasks and responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers from a provided list or database.
- Introduce and promote products or services to potential customers over the phone.
- Follow a scripted sales pitch to provide information about the product or service being offered.
- Engage potential customers in conversation, address their inquiries, and overcome objections.
- Identify and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and outcomes of calls.
- Achieve individual and team-based sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Update customer information, such as contact details or call outcomes, in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the sales team to pass on qualified leads and relevant customer information.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve sales processes and scripts.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers.
- Follow up with potential customers who have shown interest but haven’t made a purchase.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
- Adhere to company policies, call quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle customer complaints or escalate issues as appropriate.
- Meet productivity and call volume targets as set by the team lead or supervisor.
- Attend regular training sessions or workshops to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a tele-caller, telemarketer, or in a similar outbound sales role.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and pleasant telephone voice.
- Ability to engage and build rapport with potential customers over the phone.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
- Active listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM software or similar tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Goal-oriented mindset and motivation to achieve sales targets.
- Resilience and persistence in handling objections and rejection.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, if required.
