Should know how to develop good Data strategies, BI strategies.

Ability to engage with customer and elicit business requirements and extrapolate into meaningful business & reporting solutions.
Good interpersonal skills.
Capability to liaise with business Stakeholders and IT to understand reporting requirements.
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
Good technical documentation skills

Must Have

Requirements

:

Successfully delivered a number of end-to-end Microsoft Power BI/Datastage (ETL) projects.
Strong development skills in SQL and T-SQL. Good understanding of relational database. Expert knowledge of query optimization.
Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform suite of products. (Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate) or strong ETL experience
In depth and practical knowledge of data modelling concepts.
Ability to understand & translate reporting business requirements into end-to-end solution.
Exposure to AGILE methodologies.
Good understanding of data warehousing principles, meta data.

Following skills are desirable and will be highly appreciated :

Experience with Cognos BI tool will be added advantage. Especially, Cognos migration to Power BI.
Semantic layer design experience
Azure experience (Azure Database Engineer)
Exposure to machine learning and AI
Experience in transport, supply chain and logistic.
Experience in airline industry (air cargo)
