Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities

    1. To control defect levels of received mechanical material.

    2. To check the material received and clear to stores within specified period.

    3. Take CAPA for the non conformity reported in production and at customer end.

    4. Coordinate with the Suppliers on technical data and other issues.

    5. To prepare monthly MIS, on receipt and clearance cycle

    6. To prepare monthly MIS on trend of defect level on production.

    7. To prepare MIS on Green Channel suppliers, Kaizan and improvements

    8. Coordinate with Vendor Development for adding, introducing new vendors by providing inspection assistance.

    9. Validate Critical to Quality parameters to improve part reliability.

    10. Provide inspection assistance to PED for ECR validation.

    11. Use EBS data for utilising resources appropriately.

    12. Calibration / Verification of measuring instruments for effective measurements

    13. Calibration / Verification of measuring instruments used by other departments

    14. Provide inspection assistance to manufacturing plant
