Join us in powering the progress of global aerospace.Position Overview:Boeing Supply chain management team is currently looking for Experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join their team in Pathankot, India. A successful candidate working directly with the Manager, Supply Chain BDI/BGS (India).A successful candidate will get opportunity to work on Boeing defense Programs and will be working on Supply Chain deliverables for these mission critical programs. Candidate will understand the importance of collaboration, stakeholder management and time criticality for these critical Programs.Position Responsibilities:
  • Performing Warehousing operation and execution
  • Supporting Supply Chain deliverables for Customer base, Localization and Supplier Performance Management through appropriate Supply chain Infrastructure (Includes supplier capabilities).
  • Work in cross functional teams and handle interaction between multiple stakeholders.
  • Liasoning with Program teams and Supply Chain team.
  • Supplier management works, Localization, Supplier Performance management and Warranty / Sustainment contracts.
  • Perform Supplier assessments for upcoming requirements.
  • Prepare required reports and documentation & work on MIS system as per the requirements.
  • Support Localization efforts / Help in developing In-country capabilities for Supply Chain deliverables.
  • Material planning
  • Support India Program team as per the requirements.
  • Analyzes post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities and coordinates for economy of purchases.
  • Analyzes material location and initiates redistribution action. Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.
  • Reviews applicability of warranties to allocate costs. Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies. Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.

  • Bachelor Degree or Master’s degree with 9+ years of experience.
  • High proficiency working with Excel, Power point and MS office tools.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Prior Knowledge /experience on working at MRO, working with airlines / Indian defense forces customer is desired.
  • Should possess knowledge of Supply Chain function / Logistics, customers, regulatory agency, industry and procedures as they apply to Aircraft maintenance and sustainment concepts, support equipment & systems, part interchangeability, Supplier performance management, Supplier assessment
  • Should have good understanding on Indian supplier capabilities related to maintenance, repair / overhaul of aviation components.
Typical Education & Experience:
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years’ related work experience.
