Fabric Merchandiser

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Sourcing Estimation of Fabric Cost negotiations
• Routine rigorous follow up of Fabric with the mills supplier to maintain the Delivery Schedule.
• Prepare plans and production schedules workflow.
• Collect P.O/Order sheet from concerned Merchandiser/Department.
• Identifying, Evaluating and the suppliers and placing orders with the right supplier
• Meeting Sample yardage and bulk deadlines
• Well versed in handling the testing Instruments like GSM, construction etc.
• Strong in analyzing fabric specifications, colour, quality, defects, etc.
• Vast exposure in various fabric processing, structure analysis, blends
• Be a solution provider and good in trouble shooting during bulk execution.
• Controlling bulk fabric issues with mills /vendors and avoid delays due to fabric.

Required Candidate profile

• B.Tech in Textile technology (or) Diploma in Textile
• Technical knowledge on various woven fabric analysis
• Excellent knowledge on fabric sourcing
• Fabric price negotiations
• Knowledge on fabric quality / testing
• Communication skill with suppliers
• Excellent follow up with suppliers to meet deliverables.

Salary: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
