To lead and expand the Financial Shared Services Center (SSC) in India in order to absorb the activities of any specified entities, ensure standardization of transactional financial processes in the Company, and generate efficiency gains derived from consolidating financial activities under one leadership

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead the Finance Shared Services Center (SSC) supporting our global business beginning with Asia and drive development of a culture that thrives on continuous improvement. Improve the professional competence of the members of the SSC team through use of the assessment processes and through the ongoing development of their knowledge and skills.
• Perform financial transactions in a consistent manner across the globe in order to maximize efficiency, minimize cost, reduce working capital, and deliver superior service to the business. Continuously improve efficiency of the SSC through economies of scale, synergies, and cross-functionality.
• Keep abreast of all relevant local financial and statutory regulations impacting Accounts Payable, Banking and Cash management, and ensure Company compliance with those regulations.
• Provide guidance and oversight to the GST and TDS tax functions. Establish systems, processes and procedures to collect and record data required for internal and external financial reporting.
• Maintain a strong system of internal controls which will ensure the safeguarding of assets, compliance with regulatory agency requirements, and the integrity and objectivity of financial reporting, in alignment with the policies of the internal control team.
• Measure and communicate performance of the SSC. Other duties and projects ass assigned.

Key ingredients:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with CA/(ICWA). Master’s or Post Graduate Degree- Desired
• 8 to 10 years of experience. At least 5 years of experience within a Financial Shared Services leadership team
• Experience in Taxation (Direct & Indirect)
• Worked in a multinational manufacturing organization, Systems and process expertise
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Candidate should have sound knowledge and hands-on experience in Oracle
