About India on Track:

India on Track (IOT) has been set up to inculcate a culture of sport amongst the youth and create a platform to learn and participate in various disciplines. Working in a sector that is driven by passion, we are unwavering in our commitment to help India recognize and celebrate the power of sports, be it recreational or professional.

IOT wants to equip India’s next generation with the tools to help build a healthier, stronger nation that would have its roots as much in sports as other disciplines. We make this simple idea come to life through our grassroot initiatives executed in a secure environment using world class training and conditioning techniques.

To ensure this, IOT partners with top international sporting entities (like NBA Basketball Schools & LaLiga Academy School, amongst others) to bring best-in-class sports thinking and philosophy to India. Each partnership focuses on the amalgamation of the technical expertise of these leaders in world sport and IOT’s management experience and vision for India.

In India, IOT runs 85+ Centres across 14 Cities, has over 80 Coaches and trains over 20K kids. IOT also runs Residential International Development Programs in Portugal & Spain, and its fast expanding in other regions.

Project Overview:

IOT aims to create a district- level, integrated grassroots Football coaching and development programme across the state of Karnataka. The programme will create a comprehensive, long term development platform for young talent to be trained and developed through the technical expertise and methodology of LaLiga Academy Schools. The programme will include holistic development of students including technical skills, tactical grooming, physical fitness, discipline and game rules & regulations.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Represent the programme to the highest professional standards

• Learn LaLiga’s coaching philosophy and methodology

• To always be on-time or early for scheduled sessions

• To dress professionally to sports standards

• Lead teams and participation in leagues/tournaments

• Be available to do promotional/exhibition activities to promote our brand

• Retention of players through quality, enjoyment and connection to programme

• Athlete Health & Safety, including First Aid

• Be involved in training opportunities and continually up-skill

• Communicate with parents and provide feedback

• Establish a local network of coaches

• Storage, care, maintenance, control and proper safe use of equipment

• Provide feedback on programme operations

Requirements:

  • Relevant Experience: Min 3 years
  • ’B’ or ’C’ licenced Football coach
  • Football academy coaching experience
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Good at Microsoft Word and Excel
