The role is for an Accounts Executive at Umed Bhawan Palace, Kotah in the Hospitality (Hotel) sector.

Applicants should have a good understanding of / be comfortable with :-

  • Day-to-day invoicing
  • Statutory Procedure of a Company as per the Companies Act, and as per MCA (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) requirements
  • Maintaining of organized ledger books using Tally or other hotel-industry specific softwares
  • Preparing all 3 financial statements
  • Understanding the workings of GST, TDS, and VAT
  • Employee Payroll / Salaries, with a knowledge of PF, ESI, etc.
  • Filing of returns: Income Tax, GST, TDS, VAT
  • Interacting / Coordinating with the management team to prepare various reports
  • Ability to analyze data and information effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially MS Excel & MS Word)

Other Requirements (bonus qualifications):-

  • Assist in compilation of departmental budgets, forecasts and business plans
  • Handling statutory work of a company
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Hotel / Restaurant Accounting Experience

License/Certification:

  • CA, CA-Inter or other Accounting Certifications (Preferred)
