Analyst/Senior Analyst—Illustration Designer—USI Delivery Center for Creative Services

Work you’ll do

The Illustrator will be assisting Deloitte’s internal clients with highly creative illustrations using various graphic design tools and state-of-the-art equipment. The designer is accountable for visually appealing designs; production, and delivery of rich media projects. The designer is responsible for effective communication and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. This position requires proficient experience in multiple software packages and ability to consistently produce quality work with accuracy. Requires experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and use of Graphic tablet) and the ability to produce work consistently and accurately.

  • Produce creative/high end Illustrations using Graphic tablets.
  • Ability to do illustrations, Live Sketch/graphic recording for conferences, create infographics, technical drawings, concepts from scratch, caricatures and leadership portraits, character designs, perspective drawings, storyboards, digital art, comics strips, etc., within an internal process-driven systems structure, meeting deadlines and client expectations for quality.
  • Take project brief from customers, working closely with senior designers and leads for guidance, provide designs based on instructions. Should have the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to provide design consultation and develop concepts aligned to a customer brief and present to customer(s)
  • Ability to execute complex design efficiently with minimal edit cycles required.
  • Gain expertise, stay up to date and follow Deloitte brand identity standards.
  • Develop Technical drawings based on Industries, storyboards, concepts by taking briefs from customers, understanding their business.
  • Handle end-to-end high end/complex illustration projects, that need conceptualizing and building concepts/ creative infographics, designing creative merchandizing products, and demonstrating familiarity of working within corporate identity guidelines. Ability to adapt to any kind of styles/branding guidelines and customers instructions.

CoRe Creative Services is Deloitte’s largest global design team. The mission is to deliver brand consistency, enhance speed-to-market, and drive operational efficiencies through global alignment of creative services professionals, process, and technology. Deloitte’s US-India Delivery Center is dedicated to providing creative graphic solutions in a variety of mediums. With 150+ designers and coordinators located across three global regions—providing consistent, high-quality, professional creative services, this team has established its reputation with clients throughout Deloitte. The CoRe Creative Services practice provides support on 35+ project types, including but not limited to presentation, proposal, sales sheet, newsletter, annual report, brochure, poster, placemat, advertisement, video, animation, illustration, interactive design, signage, SharePoint and microsite design.


Qualifications

  • Portfolio is mandatory and should include samples of Freehand sketching, doodling, digital paintings, storyboards, comics, concept arts
  • Two to six years of experience in corporate graphic design/Print design and creating high end illustrations. Specialist in creative projects, illustrations and complex projects.
  • Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline. (Desired: Bachelor/Master of Fine Arts (BFA/MFA)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud: Advance knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Hands on experience in digital art, conceptualization, freehand drawing/sketching human anatomy, still life and perspective drawings using Wacom graphic tablets.
  • Ability to create/build concepts based on the instructions provided by clients.
  • Ability to develop digital illustrations, Live Sketch/graphic recording for conferences, create infographics, technical drawings, concepts from scratch, caricatures and leadership portraits, character designs, perspective drawings, storyboards, digital art, comics strips, etc. Should be very strong in Design Principles.
  • Ability to follow and interpret customer’s instructions and deliver projects with quality and meet customer expectations, and deadlines.
  • Provide design consultation to high profile customers on key deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills. Having experience working with customers across geographies.

  • Hyderabad/Bengaluru

Work Timing

  • 5:30 am to 2:30 pm
  • 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm
  • Shift rotates every three months
