Job location: Mohali

Candidates should be willing to relocate to the job location &US based shift.

Job responsibilities:

Product management for spares
Work with engineering and other stake holders to address off the self-parts obsolescence (Mechanical and electrical), to ensure continuous spares supply to customer
Business decisions like: spares stock level, last time purchasing decisions for steady spare support
Access financial and sales data; analyze data and present useful trend analysis; must be able to produce forecast based on past data
Customer management:
Obsolescence notification, critical part change communication through tech articles
Parts usage and demand forecast: strong control on the spares demand across global install base of the tools and should be able to project forecast based on the historical usage data
Risk assessment and mitigation plan
Participate in engineering design reviews and provide business decisions; sign-off engineering change orders

Team player; comfortable working in matrix organization
Strong communication – verbal and written
Strong presentation skills
Business acumen: ROI based decision, basic understanding of supply/demand, finance
Problem solving and decision making
Strong data interpretation and analytical skills
Strong in Microsoft Office tools
Multi-tasking; time management
Demonstrated quick learning ability and “Can-do” attitude

Desirable skills:

Project/program management
Understanding of basic mechanical, electrical and electronics components level engineering
Conflicts and escalation management
Leadership – should be able to drive global cross functional team to deliver the desired result.

Work Environment:

Education and Experience:

Must have bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred: Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics)
Experience in similar job profile will be preferred
