Participate in all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing and follow Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks
Develop client applications components using Python, PySpark and Big Data technologies like Map Reduce, Hive, HBase, Oozie
Strong understanding on XML parsing
Develop unit and integration tests for all written software programs and components. Follow test driven development approach
Generate status reports

Must have skills:

Bachelor s Degree. Equivalent combination of education, experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Python and Big Data technologies like PySpark, Hive, HBase, Oozie etc
Experienced with XML parsing
Able to generate stats and track incremental progre ss
